Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
Romans 12:11

My name is Matt Orozco. I have always had a passion for art. At an early age, my parents decided to nurture my artistic abilities rather than my ambitions to become The Lone Ranger when I grew up.

I am an illustrator trapped in the body of a designer, or is it the other way around? I do my best to incorporate my illustration into everything I design.

I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Austin Peay State University. I am currently earning a MA in Graphic Design through the e-learning program at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

I have worked primarily in print for the past 11 years. I found myself immersed in Flash in the late '90s, creating those enormous web intros that everyone likes to skip. I am currently the Marketing Promotions Manager for the United Methodist Publishing House.

I have been able to share what I have learned through my professional experience as an adjunct instructor at Austin Peay State University and the Watkins College of Art & Design. Working with students in a classroom environment keeps my software knowledge up to date and continuously refines my communication skills.

I carefully divide my ever-elusive free time between my family and my attempts to keep producing "fine art". Creating with anything other than a computer is so refreshing! Graphite and acrylics are my mediums of choice I have a lovely wife, two beautiful daughters, a cat, a dog and a house in the burbs. Aside from my faith, music has a huge influence on my work. I listen to all types of music, but my favorites are usually filed under "Loud, Fast, Crap".
